• Explain Vocab paragraph writing. (HW)

• Review VW. 5.2.3 Vocabulary

• Review comparing and contrasting with a text. Comparing and Contrasting Example. They will need to do something like this on Friday on the test.
• Introduce Action and Linking verbs with a Brainpop video.
• We didn't have enough time to begin the homework in the RWN. I told them to carefully read the instructions and do their best.

 First English Exam Reflection

    Out of the 17 students in class, 7 received scores in to 90-97 range, and 5 were in the 80-89 range. So, 12 out of 17 students did at least fairly well. I feel like I prepared them enough for the exam. I discussed some ways that they can reflect on their performance.
